Sunny Afton, also known posthumously as Shadow Bonnie, is a minor character in BlueyCapsules. She was the wife of William Afton and is the mother of Michael, Elizabeth and C.C. Afton. A loving and hardworking wife and mother, Sunny was devoted to her family -- so much that even after her untimely death, she was determined to stay behind to offer what support she could in the form of a possessed lamp. After her lamp form was destroyed, she took on a corporeal spirit form in order to take care of Michael after his father's disappearance, and currently lives in the Afton Residence with her son.
While attending Pen Island University, she first asked William on a date because of her obsession with Great Britain and his uncanny resemblance to a reject Beatle. Her dedication to the textbook rules of classic romance were brashly ignored by William, yet somehow she remained charmed and entertained by him. Within months of meeting one another, Sunny became pregnant with their first child, as a result of faulty nunnery sex education. Despite her somewhat airheaded personality, she was a dedicated, successful student in an intensive major, and as such William (and, by extension, Henry) were often left to watch baby Michael and later Elizabeth. Nonetheless, she was a loving and caring mother, later going on to homeschool her three children and dedicate time and love to understanding their interests, hobbies, and quirks. She died from food poisoning after eating one of William's horrific British cuisines. Her ashes were then poured into Elizabeth's Hello Kitty lamp by William, and her spirit promptly possessed it. This displeased William immensely, as she had seemingly lost all use both as a mother and a wife in his callous and selfish eyes. Later, when an electrical fire was accidentally caused by his knocking the lamp over, Sunny instead manifested herself as a ghostly apparition, known better as Shadow Bonnie. In this form, she helped Michael as best she could after William fled Hurricane leaving him alone.
