Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, also known as just Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, was an entertainment center and family restaurant in Hurricane, Utah, opened in 1984. It was the first incarnation of the restaurant. It was a part of a collective of local restaurants owned and operated by Boss Boseman. It was the spiritual successor to Fredbear's Family Diner, created after Fazbear Entertainment was sold to Boseman by the original founders William Afton and Henry Emily, who worked as managers and engineers at the location. The only other employee was Philip Guy, personally hired by Boseman after working at one of his other businesses, since William destroyed the applications before Boseman could get to them.
The restaurant was open for six months and was extremely successful, attracting customers from all over the country, despite facing competition from the next door Pizza Hut. However, it was also where the Missing Children Incident took place over the course of the months it was open. After the deaths of Boseman's three children, he relinquished ownership back to William and Henry and disappeared. The pizzeria closed in November, though not before the rights to it were purchased by The CEO.
