The Bite of '83 was the first major incident to occur in a Fazbear restaurant because of an animatronic. It occurred in the afternoon on November 14th, 1983. The victim was C.C. Afton, who had his head crushed in Fredbear's mouth after Michael Afton shoved him inside. Though he did not die immediately, he only survived for about 12 more hours before he finally succumbed to the severe brain trauma. The incident is what ultimately led to Fredbear's Family Diner shutting down.
