Animatronics are robotic mascots used in a variety of different childrens' restaurants and attractions, but in BlueyCapsules, are most prominently featured in the restaurants run by Fazbear Entertainment. There are various different animatronics used for different Fazbear restaurants, with different technologies used in each.

Springlock animatronics

The springlock animatronics were the first animatronics created by Henry Emily and William Afton, used as mascots in Fredbear's Family Diner when it opened in 1978, and were later used in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria (1984). They were unique in the fact that they could double as both an animatronic and a wearable costume. The animatronic endoskeleton could be compressed along the sides of the suit using a hand crank, and could therefore be worn. However, this technology was not perfect, and there was a serious threat of the springlocks holding the metal parts back breaking.

There was only one incident of a springlock failure actually occurring, and the victim, William Afton, barely managed to survive. Following this incident, Spring Bonnie was left in the Safe Room awaiting repairs, but was later forgotten when the room's entrance was sealed off by the order of Boss Boseman.

One of these animatronics, Fredbear, was used to hide the body of Cassidy Boseman after her murder (see Missing Children Incident) and was subsequently possessed by her vengeful spirit with the help of the Puppet. The remains were later removed by Philip Guy following pressure from William, but Fredbear remained possessed.

The springlock animatronics are currently in disuse. Fredbear, along with the other main animatronics of the original Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, were put into storage, and their parts were used by William Afton for harvesting Remnant for use in his new animatronics. Spring Bonnie remains in the safe room at the abandoned location.

Original four

The original four animatronics were created by Henry Emily as mascots for Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria (1984). They were much larger than their predecessors, the springlock animatronics, as they did not feature springlock technology and functioned only as animatronics.

All four of the suits were used to hide the bodies of children after William Afton murdered them (see Missing Children Incident) and were subsequently possessed by their spirits with the help of the Puppet. The remains were later removed by Philip Guy following pressure from William, but all four remained possessed.

The original four are currently in disuse. Along with Fredbear, they were put in storage, with their parts being used by William to harvest Remnant for use in his new animatronics.

Funtime animatronics

The funtime animatronics were created by Afton Robotics, LLC (William Afton) for use in Circus Baby's Pizza World when it opened in 1986. These animatronics were unique in that they were almost completely powered by Remnant, an incredible power source harvested from the possessed parts of the original four + Fredbear. At this point, only William knew about the use of Remnant in the machinery.

The funtimes were created as mascots, but their primary feature, unbeknownst to Fazbear Entertainment (at the time), was to be literal killing machines. Their purpose was to lure children away from the main crowd and kill them by entrapping them within the animatronic. Then, more Remnant could be harvested from the dead child by removing the animatronic endoskeleton, burning it, and replacing it with a new one.

Toy animatronics

The animatronics were created by Fazbear Entertainment with help of Afton Robotics, LLC as mascots in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria (1986). They were shinier, redesigned versions of the original four. They were partially powered by Remnant and had a unique facial-recognition technology created by William Afton that heavily utilized Remnant.
